Ghyll Scrambling in The Lake District is one of the best adventurous activities you can undertake, combining stunning scenery and exciting waterfall jumps.

Ghyll scrambling includes climbing up through the water, over rocks, under trees and through waterfalls and pools. There are also lots of exciting sections such as slides, falls and jumps to explore as we make our way upstream.

The session is suitable for families with young children aged aged 7+. The level of challenge in the Ghyll is adaptable to you, and my experience of the Ghyll allows me to ensure you have a fun and safe adventure and challenge yourself outside of your comfort zone.

The recommended duration for Ghyll scrambling is half day Stickle Ghyll and Chruch Beck, however River Esk requires a full day. All 3 Ghylls can be made into a full day if you'd like to extend the challenge and include waterfall climbs/abseils!

Alternatively, pair this activity with half a day rock climbing or abseiling and you'll get a great full day of exciting activities!
